Adventism and Seventh-day Adventists

Revelation chapter 10

In the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the last book of the Bible, we see in chapter 10 a mighty angel having a little book opened. From this language we infer that this little book in the hands of this mighty angel was at one time closed.

Which book of the Bible was at one time closed? There is only one book in the Bible that was at one time closed. God told the prophet Daniel : “But you, Oh Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”---Daniel 12:4
When did scientific knowledge increase? In the early 1800’s with the many modern inventions and then with the unsealing of the prophetic book of Daniel biblical knowledge increased. The running to and fro? Travel also increased with the invention of the steam engine, then the Otto 4 cycle petrol and diesel and finally the jet engines.
Than Daniel 12:5-9 says:” Then I Daniel looked, and, behold there stood other two, the one on this side of the river, and on that side of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and swore by him that lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.
And I heard, but I understood not, then said I, Oh Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And He said, Go thy way oh Daniel; for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
We see here that Daniel first called Him a man but later Oh God. Then also the time period mentioned here. In Jewish or Hebrew reckoning, time is a year, times is two years and a half a time makes 3 1/2 years and the Hebrew calendar has 30 days in a month which makes it a time period of 1260 days in which he, the little horn or anti-christ, would accomplish to scatter the holy people of God. All the Protestant Reformers unitedly declared this little horn power that grew exceedingly great to be the Roman Papacy when it was placed on the throne of the fallen Roman Empire that reigned for 1260 days of prophetic years from 538 A.D. to 1798 A.D. The decree of Emperor Justinian came into effect when Rome was freed in 538 and ended when the Pope was taken off his throne in 1798 by the French and received the deadly wound which would heal again.

Now the mighty angel standing on the waters is also seen in Revelation chapter ten declaring the same thing, namely that time will be no longer. In other words, we arrived at the end time. No more prophetic time set after this time period of the 1800’s. [v.6b]. Then we see the great and bitter disappointment suffered during the advent awakening of the 1800’s when they proclaimed the prophetic code of Daniel to the world: “And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hands of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as sweet as honey; and soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter. And he said unto me, Thou must prophecy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”—Rev.10:8-11
Note, in Daniel, the mighty angel is seen standing on the river and the land because it seems like a local affair, but in Revelation He stands on the sea and the land indicating a worldwide affair reaching every earth dweller, nation, tongue, and people.

Fire and Brimstone preachers
This has direct reference to the First-day Adventists of the Millerite Movement who had with great joy studied, digested and then proclaimed the coming of the Lord Jesus to reign with great power and glory. The bitter disappointment that followed when the Lord did not come was similar to the disappointment of the early church and also due to the ignorance of Christianity not knowing anything about the sanctuary and secondly, papal Rome had so obscured the saving grace and work of our high priest in heaven.

Christians in that century thought that the sanctuary was the earth or portion of it and God came to cleanse it by fire. This suited the fire and brimstone preachers of the 1800's very well.

Jesus Christ in the heavenly Sanctuary

First-day Adventists then were eager to find out what went wrong and studied the sanctuary service. This led them to see many portions of Scripture telling us that the earthly was a copy of the original sanctuary in heaven.

Now they saw Jesus's ministry as the Christians great and high priest, interceding and presenting our prayers to the Father. When the First-day Adventists saw the Ten Commandments under the Mercy Seat in heaven, they had no choice but to start genuine Sabbath keeping and so became Seventh-day Adventists. The Bible says that Jesus did come after all with the clouds of heaven, but not to this earth, instead near to His Father to sit in judgment. So if Jesus came near to the Father, it means Jesus moved from the ministry of the holy into the most holy place of the sanctuary. " I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought Him near before Him." --- Daniel 7:13. This means that before the day of judgment began in 1844, Jesus was not near the Father [The Ancient of days], but brought Him near.

Adventists have proclaimed the prophetic books of Daniel and the Revelation ever since, but it has been rejected and opposed by all the churches of Christendom. They know nothing about these prophecies, but instead use Darby's dispensationalism which originated in the 1800's and a mix of preterism/futurism, and muttering in tongues.

Now what do the waters represent in prophecy? Rev.17:15 declares it to be a sea or masses of people. Daniel only saw a river, but in Revelation we see an ocean. In the original manuscripts they are no chapter divisions and so we see Rev.10 followed on directly by ch.11 which speaks about the heavenly sanctuary temple of God where the worshippers are being measured or judged. And the teachings of that sanctuary being trod under foot for 42 month which is the very same time period of the 1260 days of prophetic years, 42 month are 1260 days in the Hebrew calendar. It is also given as a time, time and a dividing or half a time, meaning 3 1/2 literal years or 1260 prophetic years.

"And there was given me a reed like unto a rod, and the angel stood, saying, rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and to the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophecy a thousand two hundred and threescore days clothed in sackcloth."---Revelation 11:1-3.

No chapter divisions
In the original new testament, there were no chapter divisions and were put in by the translators. Here we can see that Revelation 10 is not only about Daniels prophecy and the advent of Jesus, but the heavenly sanctuary judgment or measuring. The time of 42 month are the same as the 1260 mentioned in both verses.

Daniel’s 70 weeks or 490 days do not reach from Daniels time to Christ but 490 years do. Revelation also uses the day for a year prophetic code that all the Protestant Reformers used because we see the 10 days tribulation in Rev. 2:10 were actually 10 years of the Diocletian persecution in history of the early church.

Rev.11 refers of the judgment Daniel spoke about in 7:9,10 and again in Daniel 8:13,14 to which Jesus in Matthew 24:15 also pointed when we would see the abomination of desolation stand in the holy place of His sanctuary temple. The little horn and the abomination of desolation is a complete study in itself. Adventists saw the judgment of God in heaven arriving before the seven last plagues while the Good News of salvation was still being proclaimed according to Revelation 14:,6,7 including the Sabbath counteracting the new theory of evolution by Charles Darwin in 1844 when he made his first essay. Adventists saw the judgment of God arriving before the 7 last plagues while the Good News of the Gospel was still being proclaimed. {Rev 14:6,7]. The judgment according to the Hebrew sanctuary service is the day of Atonement, Yom Kippur [literally, the day of purging from sin].

Revelation ch.11 also speaks of the French revolution because the French ended the papal rule and then Rev.11 ends with the judgment which is the theme of Daniel and Revelation 14. Evangelicals now speak of the two witnesses in Rev.11 as being Moses and Elijah. How could they possibly be humans representing the two trees, and the two candlesticks. This is again showing the utter ignorance of the sanctuary temple of God. The 7 branch candlestick and the oil have always represented the Holy Spirit bringing us light and power. And because it was the Holy Spirit which inspired the Word of God, those two witnesses were in mourning or sackcloth for 1260 years forbidden by the papacy and finally here in France outlawed completely for 3 1/2 years being dead until they got up when all the Bible societies were formed. The old and new testament would be the better option for the 2 witnesses. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet."--Psalms 119:105

2300 days or only 1150?
Because Daniel 8:14 says evenings an mornings, the modern Translators have taken the liberty to interfere with the prophecy. They think that the supplied word 'sacrifices' belongs there, but overrule the early translators by halving the date. For a new translation to obtain copyrights, the author has to change at least 25% of the original text. So we can say that all modern versions are really modern perversions of our Bible.
When the Hebrews referred to the daily sacrifices, they would use the word order 'morning and evening' sacrifices and not 'evening and morning' the way God named the days in Genesis as full and not half days. Daily administration of the sanctuary, and not sacrifices, would be a better translation. The 2300 days do not need the year day principle of prophetic interpretation because the day of atonement [at-one-ment] only occurred once a year and so the 2300 days are 'years' automatically. It is also known as the cleansing of the sanctuary, day of judgment and Yom Kippur to the Hebrews.

Same starting date!
The 2300 prophetic days of years in Daniel 8:14 have the very same starting date as the 70 weeks in Daniel 9:24 because in Daniel chapter 9, the angel Gabriel returned to explain to Daniel the part of the vision he did not understand regarding the time period: And I Daniel fainted and was sick....and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood it."---Daniel 8:27.
"yea, and while I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I now come forth to give thee skill and understanding......therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision. Seventy weeks are determined [cut off] upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, and make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."---Daniel 9:21-24.
70 weeks or 490 days of years from Daniel's time brings us to the time Jesus came down as the Messiah and on His resurrection went to heaven to anoint the 'most Holy' place where the inauguration ceremony took place and as Hebrews 9:12 says, Jesus entered with His own blood into the 'holy' place to begin His priesthood.

Why do modern translators use the word 'determined' instead of 'cut off' in Daniel 8:14 when the earliest versions of the Septuagint and Vulgate give the single meaning of 'cutting off'?

Why then, it may be asked, did our translators render the word determined, when it so obviously means cut off? The answer is, they doubtless overlooked the connection between the eighth and ninth chapters, and considering it improper to render it cut off, when nothing was given which the seventy weeks could be cut off from, they gave the word its topical instead of its literal meaning. The angel of the Lord came to explain the time prophecy or the vision he had not understood in chapter eight. Which part was to be cut off? Obviously from where it reached to the end of time for Daniel 8:17-19 says it is for the time of the end. See our chart on the 2300 days page.

Cleansing the Temple is known as Yom Kippur, the day of atonement and judgment. Here the final removal of sin takes place. It is the final proclamation of the gospel, saying that GOD'S hour of judging has arrived now [see Revelation 14:6-12].

The Daily and Antiochus Epiphanes or the papacy?
The daily [tamid] which also means 'continual', applied not only to the sacrifices but also to the showbread, the lamps and the incense. But notice, the taking away only of the daily means, it did not reach the yearly, the day of atonement. Therefore the papal transgression ended in 1798. A.D. and did not reach the end of the 2300 days of years in 1844 A.D., the start of the yearly. The Hebrew literally reads that "from Him", that is, from the Prince of the host, the "daily" or "continual" was taken away. This "Prince of the host" is obviously Jesus Christ as seen from Daniel 9:25, the Messiah the Prince.
Why only the daily? The daily ministration of the sanctuary [defiling] only takes place in the first or holy department. The second apartment ministry, the yearly, which occurred only when the sanctuary was cleansed, wasn't in operation during the papal reign. True that as Antiochus defiled the sanctuary by offering a pig, so did the daily sacrifices with sin. Antiochus suspended all sanctuary temple services for three years which was not just the daily sacrifices but also the yearly. The yearly [Yom Kippur or day of atonement], is the most important and highest part of the sacrificial system, the 'yearly' would have most certainly been mentioned if Antiochus Epiphanes was meant here. But the text specifies the 'daily' and it certainly means the papacy, the man of sin, that took away Christ's sacrifice of sin from the heavenly sanctuary temple.

How did papal Rome take away from Christ?
"Irenaeus, also a falsely so called early church Father [forbidden religious title Matthew 23:9], wrote that "Mary was the cause of salvation for herself and the whole human race."--Dogmatic Constitution on the church,ch.8,II,56 pp.380-1. Vatican Council II, 1962-4.
"Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation. By her maternal charity, she cares for the brethren of her Son, who still journey on earth surrounded by dangers and difficulties, until they are led into their blessed home. Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix." ibid p.382.

Professor A.A.Hoekema, not familiar with the sanctuary services of Jesus, thought that Seventh-day Adventism is a maze of doctrines and that is probably what he thought of the Bible as well and especially Daniel and the Revelation. Hoekema so twisted Adventism that he claimed that the S.D.A.'s made Satan the ultimate sin bearer. His twisting of the Bible is no different from that of the other churches who take the words of Jesus: "The Sabbath was made for man" -[kind], to mean that it was made for the Jews only. See Mark 2:27; Matthew 12:8;Genesis 2:1-3. So here Jesus Himself says that the weekly Sabbath is "for" us as compared to the seven annual ceremonial feast Sabbaths days that were "against " us [Colossians 2:14-17].When a person or church is all mixed up, the Bible calls them Babylon. Colossians 2:14-16 is always being used against Christ's holy Sabbath. In contents, it speaks of the rudiments of the world [see Col.2:8;20] which were the seven annual feasts Sabbath days and separate from the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments which God Himself wrote and which He calls My holy day. The Bible interprets itself when we compare Colossians ch.2 with Ephesians ch.2 and Hebrews 9:10 which reads: "Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, carnal ordinances." No serious Bible students can miss this. Ordinances are bylaws and we have them in every country or county.

FALLEN BABYLON

Babylon the Great Whore [Revelation 17]

Ancient Babylon was a mixture of religion and politics. The word Babylon means the gate of God. In the N.T. [New Testament], it stands also for confusion and whoredom by mixing worldliness [politics] with Godliness.

Babylon is so confused that it cannot tell the difference between obedience and legalism. Babylon is also said to deceive all nations by using sorceries [Revelation 18:23]. Babylon's sins have already been stockpiling up to heaven [Revelation 18:1-4]. Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city [Rev.14:8] "And that woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth."--Rev.17:18. The woman is a symbol of the church. When pagan Rome morphed into papal Rome, they forced every citizen of every country in the Roman Empire to become Roman Catholic or face torture on the rack or burning at the stake. Papal Rome then set up their own Kings and Emperors to do her bidding. Napoleon was crowned by the Pope backwards. When a country ruler rebelled against the excesses of Rome, Rome would just blackmail him by threatening to order every Roman Catholic to stop paying taxes. And so it was, that the woman or church was also that city, namely, Vatican city.

Papal inquisitions bear witness to the fact that: “ And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.”--- Revelation 17:6

Did you know that a dead person in the Roman Church must perform 3-4 miracles before he/she can become a saint? The Adventist church is taking the state of the dead from the Bible alone. The Bible says that only God has immortality [1.Timothy 6:16] and that the dead know nothing nor have they anymore a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun [Ecclesiastes 9:5,6], so who do you think is doing the miracles for the dead? Not God, because it is done in the name of a deceased person. It is the Devil.
In Protestantism, every born again Believer was a saint just as the Bible tells us. Contacting the dead, is the forbidden art of Necromancy.

Fallen Babylon likes to read the Bible this way: "Here is the patience of the saints. Here are they that cannot possibly keep the commandments of God, despite having the faith of Jesus." Well this is not what it says, here is what the Bible really says: "Here is the patience of the saints. Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus."---Revelation 14:12

The Roman church has declared Mother Mary immaculate so that her child Jesus could not sin and therefore not be our example. Protestants say it a little bit different, that Jesus was born with the sinless nature of Adam before the fall so with contradicting Romans 1:3;8:3; Hebrews 2:16,17.. That also makes it impossible to follow Jesus. That only leaves the Seventh-Day Adventists who keep the commandments of God by the faith of Jesus because a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ in overcoming sin. Not just the forgiveness of, but the forsaking of sins. We sing there is power in the blood, and so it is, plenty of it and we only need to ask.

The time would come when they [fallen Babylon] no longer endure sound doctrines but heap false teachers unto themselves and having a form or formal religion but denying the power thereof.
Another reason for the fall of modern Babylon is the definition of sin. Paul the apostle had not known sin except by the law that said, you must not covet. The apostle is quoting the Ten Commandments from Exodus 20. Babylon says that sin is separation from God. While this sounds true, the Devil and his ministers have transformed themselves into angels of light and are closing the gap between Babylon and god. Revelation 18 says that they are like hateful birds trapped in a cage. Demon possession is like that. The devil learned to rebirth Christians that love sin.

Confession
If the confession box in the Roman church gives license to sin, Once saved always saved by Protestants gives the same results.

Apostasy
An example of apostasy can be seen in Ex-Adventists like D.M. Canright whose poison is still being used against Adventists..
Then we have Dr. Desmond Ford and his followers with all theory and no practice, but keep on sinning. Because Ford when at Avondale College started to teach our new Pastors [Elders] that they can be saved on profession only and that the way they live, has no bearing on salvation, the Seventh-Day Adventist church is now deeply divided over this issue.

Nicky Gumble, the Anglican Pentecostal claims that salvation is not about rules but a relationship! He forgets that breaking the rules is also breaking the relationship! The forgiveness of sin must also be the forsaking of sin which is the breaking of the rules. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is not grace plus Law plus Sabbath, but "Repent ye from sin" which is the transgression or violation of the Ten Commandments. What is a Christian? A Christian is not a follower of Christians but of Christ! Christ never went to church on Sundays so I cannot follow Him there! Fallen Babylon and fallen Adventists are not prepared to follow Jesus in the narrow way.

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments and His commandments are not grievous."---1.John 5:2,3. The Sabbath of Jesus is real grievous to non Adventist Christians by seeking the friendship of the world which is enmity with God. "Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God."---1.Corinthians 7:19. "For this is the new covenant, I God will put My laws into their mind and into their hearts will I write them."---Hebrews 10:16

Spiritual formation now became popular among Protestants. It is pure Roman Catholic mysticism and spiritualism. The apostle Paul in 2.Thess.2 wrote of the 'great' falling away or apostasy that would occur before the second Advent by 'lawlessness'. It could mean less law, but since the 1800's when the message of fallen Babylon was first proclaimed, Christians everywhere are talking against the Ten Commandments boldly.

THE NEW SINFUL EMERGING CHURCH

The New Emerging Church led out by Rick Warren and Bill Hybel hired at their convention a Rock Band and a Comedian for entertainment to mock fundamentalist Christians by saying that they are long faced, have no fun and are over saved.

The new sinful emerging church is promoting worldly entertainment and a kingdom of deception. Would the real Gospel and the real Saviour from sin please stand up! The homosexual Bishop Reverend Sponge is also part of the new sinful emerging church. No wonder they want to love everybody and not be judgmental. The bottom line is that they are in love with sin. Sinful lust of the flesh is falsely called love.

Those who downgrade sanctification, to them nothing is sacred or holy anymore. The lack of sanctification cancels out any saving effects of justification! Jesus demands whole heartedness. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are being saved for the very purpose of doing good works and therefore Christians will be judged [1.Peter 4:17]. They are making the mistake of looking at the mountain of sin or not at sin at all, instead of looking to the most powerful Saviour from sin, Jesus Christ [Matthew 1:21].

By beholding Him, we become changed into His image and leave the image of the beast behind us. These are days of great spiritual deception and apostasy, and central to that apostasy is the Charismatic movement. Its visions are false; its doctrine is corrupt; its practice is confusion and disorder. It is one of the most powerful elements of the ecumenical movement. It brings together Roman Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, Pentecostals, and Emergents in an unholy union of truth and error. Fundamental Bible-believing churches that use charismatic contemporary praise music will find that this music brings with it a philosophy that will soon change the character of any fundamentalist church. It is a different spirit.

What is the will of God? “The will of God is your sanctification”.---1.Thess.4:3 http://www.come2jesus.com.au/sanctification.htm What is the duty of all mankind? Answer: “The complete duty of mankind is to keep God’s commandments.” –Eccl.12:13,14 James 2:10-12.

So why does Adventism insist on promoting the fall of Babylon [modern Christianity]? A true Christian is to be crucified with Christ. Crucifixion of self is a very painful procedure, but with the help of God's Holy Spirit, this burden is light compared to the burden of sin and selfishness.
Selflessness and self sacrifice is the language of heaven. Cross bearing is what we Christians are called to do. When the Protestant churches had the spirit of Christ, they shun self-indulgence. No pleasure seeking, no dancing, gambling, card playing, no drinking, no partying, no smoking and no drugs etc.
But once they started to allow all, then gradually the churches began to lose members because the church and the world previously at odds, is now united and not distinguishable. They became one and had to start uniting to make up for lost membership. Then came television so now the lovers of pleasure became more than the lovers of godliness. Godliness is God likeness [not sameness]. Self-control or discipline is a fruit of the Holy Spirit [Gal.5:22].
Cross bearing applies to all we do, wear, eat or drink. Selfless self sacrificing love brings joy. The language of Satan is sin, selfishness, the pride of life, pride of opinion, self importance, rebellion, disobedience, disrespect, hatred, self sufficiency, distrust and no need of help from above. The true Christian is dead to sin and alive in Christ [Romans 6:4]. One Lord, one faith and one baptism [Eph.4:5]. The Christian churches also started to lose members because they have no health message and people find it in Eastern cults. This is a possible reason that the Adventist church is the fastest growing church.

The Day Of Atonement [AT-ONE-MENT].
What do Seventh-day Adventists teach and believe about the atonement? The very same as the Bible does. The reason why others do not see it, is because they do not study daily as we do. The question is raised, was grace for forgiven sins given with each sacrifice? The answer is yes. Seventh-day Adventists believe that our Lord Jesus Christ made complete and perfect atonement for our sins on the cross of Calvary. So why are we at odds with all others? Their Theologians have studied and seen our truth in the old testament, but are afraid to lose their jobs and salary should they admit that the Seventh-day Adventist church is right and the Investigative judgment is taught in the Bible even though it does not use the very term. The trinity is in the Bible, but not by that name. The Millennium is there but not by that term. So why object to the Investigative judgment? I would prefer to call it the pre-advent judgment. The Bible teaches a final atonement by Jesus Christ in the heavenly sanctuary! In the Old Testament type of shadows, the sins were transferred from the bleeding lamb into the sanctuary temple and dealt with at the end of the sacrificial year or round of ceremonies. Not until then was all sin eradicated. It was called the blotting out of sin.

Why was there a need for the yearly "Day of Atonement" if complete at-one-ment was achieved at the sacrifice in the old testament sanctuary? We did not invent this, God did. Christians are going so far today in denying the judgment all together, saying, there is no judgment for the Christians. God knows who is going to be saved. Has God ever done something so important without giving evidence?
"And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that Thou should give reward unto Thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear Thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament."---Revelation 11:18,19. The ark of God's testament carries God's mercy seat and therefore must be His throne, and under the mercy seat are the Ten Commandments which according to James 2:10-12 will judge us. Notice that it is the dead and not the living standing before God on judgment day. Therefore it cannot be the executive judgment. Since it is before the seven last plagues while the good news of salvation is still being preached according to Revelation 14:6,7.
All Christians will face their life's record. The apostle says that Christians will hardly be saved and that the Sinners will have no where to appear [1.Peter 4:17] because they stand self condemned. " Because straight is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it."---Matthew 7:14

"A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him; thousands thousand ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened."---Daniel 7:10 [The word Daniel means 'God is judge'].
Note that the last church is called Laodecea which means judging the people. The books of record in heaven, in which the names and the deeds of men are registered, are to determine the decisions of the judgment. The Revelator, describing the same scene, adds: "Another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works."---Revelation 20:12.
The Bible says that we are a spectacle to the universe, i.e. they are looking to see how sin is affecting our lives. God could not explain sin to a sinless universe unless it was illustrated. The universe is eagerly awaiting the outcome of a fair investigation into our lives. God is very open about the judgment and does nothing silently in a corner.
The book of life contains the names of all who have ever entered the Service of God. There, every temptation resisted, every evil overcome, every word of tender pity expressed, is faithfully chronicled. Every act of sacrifice, every suffering and sorrow endured for Christ's sake, is recorded. Wrote David: "Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into Thy bottle: are they not in Thy book?"---Psalms 56:8 "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."--- Eccl.12:14 The secret motives and purposes are important for all to know so we can clearly see why certain persons did not make it to heaven and surprised when we see some there that we thought shouldn't be. Every wrong word, every selfish act, every unfulfilled duty, every secret sin, heaven's warning or reproof neglected, wasted time, unimproved opportunities, influence exerted for good or evil, all are taken by the recording angels. The holy law of God is the standard by which all characters will be judged: "Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the duty of all man. For God shall bring every work into judgment."---Eccl.12:13,14. "So speak ye, and so do,as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty."---James 2:12.

"For when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."---Romans 5:10
Here it clearly says that we are saved much more by the life of Jesus than by His death. His perfect law keeping is written to our credit and His divine intercession in the heavenly sanctuary now saves us. Our critics will jump sky high over this statement and want to deregister us as a Christian church. "Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people."---Hebrews 2:17
Clearly then, the reconciliation for sins is made in heaven now to atone and not at the cross alone! The Adventists therefore stand alone in saying that the atonement on the cross was perfect and complete, but not finished. It only began.

Judgment after 31 A.D.
The apostle Paul preached of a judgment to come after Christ's death.--Acts 24:25;17:31. Romans 2:16. "Why doest thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at naught thy brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God."--Romans 14:10-12. "The Lord shall judge His people."--Hebrews 10:30. The heresy that has undermined Adventism places the judgment at the cross, which is partly true because it is for the unsaved. The whole world stands condemned for the death of Jesus.

The Jewish Encyclopaedia has this to say about the day of Atonement!
"God, seated on His throne to judge the world, at the same time Judge, Pleader, Expert, and Witness, opens the books of records; it is read, every man's signature being found therein. The great trumpet is sounded; a still small voice is heard; angels shudder, saying, this is the day of judgment: for His ministers are not pure before God. As a Shepherd mustereth his flock, causing them to pass under the rod, so does God cause every living soul to pass before Him to fix the limit of every creature's life and to foreordain its destiny...... On the Day of Atonement it is sealed who shall live and who are to die. "

You notice that the word day has a capital. In Hebrews 10:25 it says "Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together...... and so much the more as ye see the day approaching." That day is in capital except by the KJV. It is the Yoma, the Day, the day of atonement.

Ex-Adventists
Ex-Adventists have accepted a false gospel and false hope. They speak of a free gift of salvation while at the same time denying a powerful living Saviour from sin. When their probation closes, they will still have unconfessed and unforsaken sin that will exclude them from heaven. They are hoping to be saved in their sins. To them are the words of Jesus spoken on judgment day: "Depart from Me you workers of iniquity." --Luke 13:27;Psalms 6:8.
Ex-Adventists do not have the facts right, are shaken out of the church, and keep on spewing out their poison continuously. No one is able to reason with them, not even God.

Original Adventism

Original Adventists believe in the incarnation of the Son of God. The word incarnation contains the word carnal. In Romans it says: "Because the carnal mind is enmity with God: for it is not subject[ed] to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."---Romans 8:7,8.
So Jesus came with the carnal nature that we have, but was born by the Holy Spirit did not sin. He could have fallen. Because Jesus never gave in to sin, therefore He was free of the passion of sin and never experienced them. As original Protestantism always believed, Jesus on earth was fully God, and fully man. Therefore He is our example in overcoming self, sin, and the world. Temptation is not sin, only if we give in and starting to love it.

Why do Seventh-day Adventist believe that Revelation speaks of Sunday law?
Simply because the national law for Sunday observance is already on the books of the so called Blue Laws in the USA lying idle and dormant. Europe is the home of the Papacy and the originator of the Sunday law having just formed the Sunday Alliance with secular powers such as trade unions and the European parliament. The Papacy has been working very closely with the USA in recent years behind closed doors to bring down communism and presently working together to subdue Islam. The very next move will be enforcing the boycott of Revelation 13.
Adventists have always maintained that the international Sunday law must start with the USA. The President of America is well on his way to become a dictator. The fallen churches of Christendom [or fallen Babylon] will soon call for legislation to bring people back to the churches because of the sharp increase of natural disasters when the real reason is their apostasy and worldliness having so much in common with the secular authorities. By their fruit we shall know them. Friendship with the world is enmity with God. [James 4:4]
In 1888 A.D. Adventist historian A. T. Jones singly defeated the Sunday law bill in the USA on the grounds that secular powers can only legislate on the last 6 of the Ten Commandments and not on the first 4. This gave Adventists another 120 or more years of freedom and opportunity to preach the three angels messages. It is seen that Adventists follow Christ and that makes them Christians. Jesus never went to church on Sunday, so we cannot follow Him there.

The New Emerging Church led out by Rick Warren and Bill Hybel hired at their convention a Rock Band and a Comedian for entertainment to mock fundamentalist Christians by saying that they are long faced, have no fun and are over saved.
