Also in the early 1800's, a young woman by the name of Miss Margaret
MacDonald, received the vision of the two stage return [advent] of Jesus
known today as the secret rapture theory. She was part of the Irvingate Advent
movement after they sought the gift of tongues. Irving was summoned to court by
the English for promoting spiritualism in place of Christianity, but died before
he got there.
Ellen G. White, 1825-1915, prophetess of the Seventh day Adventist
church. She only had three years of formal education and yet wrote over 50
volumes, 100 000 pages and received more than 2 000 visions. Dr. Harvey Kellogg
from Kellogg's breakfast cereals, chief medic at Battle Creek sanatorium at the
time, invited other colleagues and scientists to examine her visions by feelings
her pulse and holding a mirror in front of her mouth to test that she did not
breath for more than two hours during an entire vision.
This type of test cannot be counterfeited by demonic forces.
The SDA church consulted Americas foremost specialist on Plagiarism [Plagiarism
is literacy-or artistic or musical-theft] , Attorney Vincent L. Ramik of
the law firm Diller, Ramik and Wight, Washington D.C. [Ramik was not a Seventh
Day Adventist, but Roman Catholic with a prejudiced mind towards SDA'S].
In his 1981 report, spending more than 300 hours researching about 1 000
relevant cases in American legal history, he concluded that "Ellen G. White" was
not a plagiarist and her works did not constitute copyright
infringement/privacy.
These false charges were not new to the Seventh Day Adventist church, but
because one of the church own Elder/Pastor made the charge public, that the SDA
church did something about it, even though it has not silenced the critics with
this false charge.
Ramik pointed out that Mrs. White "modified, exalted, and improved" the writings
of others in an ethical, as well as legal, manner. Ramik came to his conclusion
after many hours of reading Ellen White's books, as well as those used in her
writings. Further, he read the material written by critics, from D. M. Canright
to the present.
In response to a question concerning the ethics of Mrs. White in using
material of others without publicly stating where she got them, Ramik responded,
after noting some legal precedents: "Ellen White used the writings of others;
but in the way she used them, she made them uniquely her own, ethically, as well
as legally. And interestingly, she invariably improved that which she
'selected'!....She stayed well within the legal boundaries of 'fair use' and all
the time created something that was substantially greater (and even more
beautiful) than the mere sum of the component parts. And I think the ultimate
tragedy is that the critics fail to see this, he said.
"It was reading her messages in her writings that changed my mind, he said, I
believe that the critics have missed the boat badly by focusing upon Mrs.
White's writings, instead on focusing upon the messages in Mrs. White
writings.......Mrs. White moved me! I am a Roman Catholic; but, Catholic,
Protestant, whatever-she moved me. And I think her writings should move anyone,
unless he is permanently biased and is unswayable.
When asked what he meant by "message," Ramik replied: "The message is what is
crucial. The critic reads a sentence, and receives no meaning from it---he may,
and often does, even take it out of context. But read the entire message. What
is the authors intent? What is the author really saying? Where the words come
from is not that important.
What is the message of this? If you disregard the message, then even the Bible
itself is not worth being read, in that sense of the word."---Attorney Vincent
L. Ramik
Note: If critics are convinced that most of her writings were stolen
[plagiarized] from previous writers who were recognized as good Christian
writers, how come that thy want to use this to convince others and themselves
that Ellen G. White is a false prophet.
Their main gripe is the her book "The Great Controversy" between CHRIST and
Satan, which shows the involvement of other churches and reformers throughout
the history of Christianity from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 a.d. right
down to our time. Most of it comes from history books and the Bible. Satan
really hates this book which exposes all his deceptions.
More than 100 years ago Ellen G. White warned:
* Tobacco is a malignant poison
* Cancer is a germ [virus]
* X-rays can be dangerous
* Cities will become polluted
* Unrest and drug addiction among youth will become
world problems
* Protestants and Roman Catholics will re-unite
1869 A.D. I was shown she wrote: "Tobacco is a poison of the most
deceitful and malignant kind, having an exciting, then a paralysing influence
upon the nerves of the body. it is all the more dangerous because its effect
upon the system are so slow, and at first scarcely perceivable. Multitudes have
fallen victims to its poisonous influence. They have surely murdered themselves
by this slow poison."
100 years later science catches up: "Warning: Smoking causes lung cancer, heart
disease, emphysema, and may complicate pregnancy."---Surgeon General's Report.
1905 A.D. I was shown, she wrote: "People are continually eating
flesh that is filled with tuberculosis and cancerous germs. Tuberculosis,
cancer, and other fatal diseases are thus communicated."
50 years later science catches up: "Many, if not all, malignant tumors my
be caused by viruses [midget germs], thus, a large numbers of malignant of
different morphology and in different species of animals could be transmitted
from one host to another by filtered extracts."---Ludwig Gross,M.D., 1956,
Journal of the American Medical Association.
1869 A.D. I was shown, she wrote: "The eating of flesh meats has made a
poor quality of blood and flesh. Your systems are in a state of inflammation,
prepared to take on disease. You are liable to acute attacks of disease and
sudden death because you do not possess the strength of constitution to rally
and resist disease. There will come a time when the strength and health you
flattered yourself you possessed will prove to be weakness."
Science catches up in 1961: "A vegetarian diet can prevent 90% of our
thrombo-embolic diseases [clots in veins and arteries] and 90% of our coronary
occlusions." These two conditions are responsible for more death than all other
causes combined in North America."---Dr. W. A. Thomas,M.D., Writing in the
Journal of the American Medical Association.
In 1986, the National Health federation posthumously awarded Ellen White 'The
Presidents award' for her uncanny medical insights. The writings of Ellen White
contain a treasure house of scientific insights, and leading researchers are
discovering it. This includes the fields of health, nutrition, medicine,
narcotics, physiology, plant science and geology.
World War One Predicted
"But between the time of the Protestant Reformation in the fifteenth century
and the rise of the Millerite, or Adventist, movement four centuries later, a
new view of the Advent had become popular in Protestant theology. By the opening
of the 19th century churchmen were declaring that the millenium would not take
place in heaven physically apart from earth, but would be a period resulting
from the ever advancing of the triumph of the good in man over the evil. ......
.......Charles Darwin was later to give this idea great impetus with his Theory
of Evolution. [Darwin had done two years of theology at Oxford, England]
In 1878, D.M. Canright, the bitter critic of Adventism, recalled an 1849
statement by the leading Adventist writer Ellen G. White: "The Nations are now
getting angry." [See D M
Canright, opens in new page]
Canright retorted: "That was 39 years ago. It takes a long time for them to get
fighting mad! Pshaw!
In 1913 Dr. David Starr Jordan, a great leader of the movement for world peace,
declared of the great war of Europe which Adventists predicted: "We shall say
that it will never come. It is humanly impossible." President Woodrow
Wilson, in December of that year spoke of "a growing cordiality and sense of
community of interest among the nations, foreshadowing an age of settled peace
and good will." Eight month later, when World War I began, Wilson cried,
"Incredible!".---pp.262-264,Booton Herdon,The 7th DAY, The Story of the
Seventh-Day Adventists, McGraw-Hill,1960 [Note:Herdon is not a Seventh Day
Adventist Journalist].
Mrs White wrote:" But if there was one sin above another which called for
the
destruction of the race by the flood, it was the base crime of
amalgamation of man and beast which defaced the image of God, and caused
confusion everywhere." {1SP 69.1}
"Every species of animals which God had created was preserved in the
ark. The confused species which God did not create, which were the
result of amalgamation, were destroyed by the flood." {1SP 78.2} [end of quote]
One sin above all other -- mankind tinkering with the very codes of creation to
produce "monsters".
Man trying to be God.
All of the genetic engineering articles showing scientist's tinkering
> with amalgamation of man and beast today shows just how desperate
> science has become in their attempt to force an evolutionary step on
> us. Were these scientists permitted to continue, they would
> certainly create monsters on earth, justifying their acts as last-
> ditch efforts to speed up evolution, compressing millions of years
> into months in their laboratories, to create a new mankind after
> their own twisted imaginations.
Only before the 1990ties, the fact that Amalgamation between different Species
through genetic engineering could be done was still pretty much science fiction.
People were still scoffing all the way thought that Ellen G. White statements
could have any basis in literal fact. The scientific world is now pushing for
more legislation to allow them to do more in cloning.
Ellen White said, when America repudiates its Constitutional separation
of church and state, and its Protestant character, both separation of church and
state as specified in the Constitution, and
the Protestant Christian character of America would be abolished at the point of
the Sunday Law.
And this is what is happening today:
The combination of Dispensationalism on the extreme right, and Ecumenism on the
extreme left of Protestantism is squeezing the last dregs of original Apostolic
Protestantism out of American Christianity.
Protestantism, after all, has something to protest, against the Papacy in
particular. And Dispensationalism has swallowed the Jesuit Counterreformation
prophetic scenario of Christ's Second Coming.
So on both the left and the right, the mould of Protestantism is being squeezed
out by Jesuit strategy.
America's early Protestants would hardly recognize their spiritual descendants
today. So Protestantism has fallen prey to these corruptions.
"When our nation shall so abjure the principles of its government as to
enact a Sunday law, Protestantism will in this act join hands with
popery; it will be nothing else than giving life to the tyranny which
has long been eagerly watching its opportunity to spring again into
active despotism. --Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 712. {ChS 160.3}
"By the decree of enforcing the institution of the Papacy in violation
of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from
righteousness. When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf
to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the
abyss to clasp
hands with Spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold
union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution
as a Protestant and Republican government, and shall make provision for
the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that
the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan, and that the end
is near.--Testimonies, vol. 5, p. 451. {ChS 160.4}
It also makes perfect sense in Daniel 11:40-45.
> > The king of the south pushes - The king of the north goes forth in fury to
set up his power.
> >
> > The Moslem threat will be the catalyst to swing political Christianity into
power for their end time drama (a drama which is more fully revealed in Rev. 13)
> > People wonder how a political Christianity could do the things predicted
(the way SDA's understand it)-- but Daniel 11:40-45predicts how it will
happen--the king of the south will "push",
and the king of the north will come with might against him and the king of the
north will end up setting up his tabernacles in the holy land. The deception is
laid deep -- as all religions are now already focused on the holy land as the
focal point of all religion.
Opposition
Walter Rea called her the White
lie and others Mrs. Black. Where Luther had his 95 thesis to defend, Adventists
have a 101 Answers to objection.
Responses to criticism
Seventh-day Adventists have long responded to critics with
arguments and assertions of their own. Typical responses to
these criticisms include:
- Mental illness: Seventh-day Adventists reject the
charge of mental illness or that she had
seizures. Instead they believe that her writings come as
the result of divine revelation. In addition to a belief in
the existence of spiritual gifts, Adventists point to the
"overall ministry of her life" as the best proof of the
genuineness of her inspiration. In addition, they believe
her visions were often accompanied by supernatural
phenomena. One such story relates how on several occasions
witnesses recorded her holding a large Bible at arms length
for extended periods of time (in one case 20-25 minutes)
while she quoted Scriptural passages out loud; she would
trace the verses in the Bible with her free hand as she
spoke the words, and was apparently unaware of other people
in the room. During such incidents, Adventists claim,
several
skeptics attempted to pull her arm down, as well as
double-check the verses she was speaking aloud against the
verses she traced with her finger. The story concludes that
these unbelievers could not pull her arm down, and the
verses were verbatim quotations from the Bible.
- Plagiarism: Adventists believe that her use of
sources typical for a nineteenth-century writer and that her
use of other authors was limited; they generally believe
that "she was in control of her sources and that her sources
did not control her." Adventists argue that it became
increasingly normative to cite sources during her lifetime,
and that Ellen G. White subsequently revised her books,
changed passages to include quotations from authoritative
writers, and at times deleted passages when an author could
not be found. When the plagiarism charge ignited a
significant debate within the Adventist church during the
late 1970s and early 1980s, the General Conference
commissioned a major study by Dr. Fred Veltman. The ensuing
project became known as the "'Life of Christ' Research
Project." The results are available at the
General Conference Archives web site. Dr. Roger W. Coon[22],
David J. Conklin[23],
Dr. Denis Fortin[24][25],
among others, undertook the refutation of the accusations of
plagiarism.
- Failed prophecy: Adventist's state that some
prophecy, including Bible prophecy, can be conditional.
Some, for instance, have suggested that a passage in
"Testimonies" refers to the destruction of buildings at the
end of time refers to the terrorist attack on New York City
on September 11, 2001. However, the Ellen G. White Estate
has rejected this interpretation. Recently a number of
apologetic books have been published by the church
arguing for the validity of her prophetic gift. Two examples
include Don McMahon's book examining the accuracy of Ellen
White's medical statements and Graeme Bradford's book
Prophets are Human.
- Denial of the Trinity: Many Adventists argue
that, while she never used the terms "Trinity" or "Triune"
in her published writings, Ellen White did use the term
"trio" (as in Evangelism pp. 613-617) and was
Trinitarian in her views.[26]
The Seventh-day Adventist Church, in which her writings are
influential, is Trinitarian in its theology. -source

Many Christians have fallen to the seductive influences
and power of sin. We call it fallen Babylon. Just like the
fallen Angels suffered a moral fall.
false accusations such as: Mrs. White said that
JESUS would return during her lifetime. These are no where found
in her books. All her books are mostly visions explained and
point forward of the great Tribulation/Persecution for the
Christians and especially Adventist Christians. These
accusations are most old wife's tales and hearsay, such as a
certain Mrs. Burdick
JESUS to come in month----is a very popular misquote from
the book early writings pages 64-67. The very title is "The Mark
Of The Beast." We can see by the title alone, that Ellen
White did not have a near future in mind. In fact it is not even
her speaking there. She even refers to the seven last
plagues in this article. Why can't the critics get it right?
http://www.ellenwhite.org/egw35.htm, for instance insists
that Ellen G. White is a false prophet because she predicted
slavery at the seven last plagues. Even the Bible say so:
"And the kings of the earth.......and every bondman hid
themselves...for the great day of His wrath is come; and who
shall be able to stand?"-Rev.6: 15-17.
Item after item has been taken out of context or proven
ignorance of the holy Scriptures by our critics as this one just
proved. Our critics and those of Ellen and James White are
experts at taken writings out of its content.
They even admit on their website that the prediction of a sick
man in Sweden was made by an ex-Adventist. Those who cannot be
trusted with truth. Note: Early Writings is a book with
an overview to the second coming of JESUS just like the book
"The Great Controversy" between CHRIST and Satan, is a book that
spans from Jerusalem of old to the new. We are Adventists. We
write about the advent or coming of JESUS and not about
ourselves.
They also claim she was unchristian and unbiblical that she did
not pray for Brother Andrews but rather told him about his
character defects. Isn't that the work of a prophet or
prophetess? The New Testament showed that Philip had four
daughters which prophesied. They who accept reproof from a
prophet benefit from it. Consider a character defect as a rotten
plank in a ship. Would you want to take sin into heaven? What
does it take to get ready for JESUS and heaven?
Dirk Anderson and his website ellenwhite.org also claims that
E.G.White predicted that the rappings of the Fox sisters
increased, but spiritualism died out in 1920.
This one is hard to believe. There is today mediums on the steep
increase and television is filled with it even in children's
programs. Mediums openly advertise in newspapers. Even the
christian churches are full of them. Read Rev. W. L. McLeod on
"FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FALLEN" and it will surprise you. Babylon
is truly fallen.
Opposing critics always use D. M. Canright. Canright claimed
that Rome never worshipped the sun [p.239,1978 reprint] but
then goes on quoting Emperors Sunday law in which called Sunday
the venerable day of the sun. Veneration is worship. You worship
GOD on the Sabbath day but you do not worship or venerate the
day as the pagans in Rome were accustomed to.
Canright heard of Martin Luther, but apparently not of the
Augsburg Lutheran Confession of faith, because he claims in
his book against SDA's that Rome does not claim anywhere to have
changed the day of worship from Saturday to Sunday!
Now here is what the Lutherans have to say about the Roman
Catholics changing the holy day: "Besides, they appeal to the
fact that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday-contrary, as they
say, to the Ten Commandments. No case is appealed to and urged
so insistently as the change of the Sabbath, for thereby they
wish to maintain that the power of the church is indeed great
because the church has dispensed from and altered part of the
Ten Commandments."---Augsburg Confession,1980,p.50 [see also
Thomas Aquinas, Summa theologica,II,q.122,a.4 ad 4.
Note: Constantine did not need to make the Sunday law if
it was already in existence at that time. Also note that when
the Roman Catholic church wanted to show the greatness of her
power, it was through changing the Sabbath day of corporate
worship. What they do not tell us is, they also removed the
second out of the Ten Commandments in order to establish
idolatry and image worship. To make up its number ten again,
they divided the last into two and than moved up all the
numbers, so that in catechism you'll see that the Sabbath has
become in place number three in stead of number four and so
forth, which was prophesied in Daniel 7:25.
JESUS said: "Verily I say unto You, There be some
standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the
Son of man coming in His kingdom."---Matthew 16:28
Mrs. White wrote: Said the angel: 'Some food for
worms, some subjects of the seven last plagues, some will be
alive and remain upon the earth to be translated at the coming
of Jesus.'" Testimonies, Vol. 1, p. 131
Which messenger would you want to shoot? Both JESUS and E.G.W.
speaking about the same thing, the return of our Lord when they
who have endured to the end receive the crown of life. Are
they false prophets?
Prediction #7 The earth to be depopulated soon in 1864 this
quote suppose to be from 8Tp.94, but could not be found
anywhere. [sorry critics].
JESUS said in 70 A.D., that is 2000 years ago: "Behold, I
come quickly".---Rev.3:11 if this was E.G. White saying or
writing this, the messenger really would be shot literally!!!
John the Revelator saw in 70 A.D. that the Devil would only have
a short time [Revelation 12:12b].
The open and shut door theory!
And while they [foolish virgins] went to buy, the Bridegroom
came; and they that were ready went in with Him to the
marriage; and the door was shut. (Matt. 25:10)
This is not the only place that we looked at. Revelation 3:8
also refers to the open door set before a group with little
strength or numbers. Had Mrs. White written Matthew 25:10,
they would have screamed: 'false prophetess', because no one
went in literally.
The second advent was very much opposed in those days as the
popular view was Darwinism. The world was going to be getting
better and better so that JESUS could return. No one was
expecting the bridegroom back then. So the parable of the 10
virgins cannot apply to today when all Christianity in one form
or another is expecting the return of JESUS, the bridegroom.
There was a shut door in Noah's day. GOD Himself gave the
shut door message: "My spirit shall not
always strive with man, for that also he is flesh; yet his days
shall be an hundred and twenty years."--- Genesis 6:3.
There was a shut door in the days of Abraham. Mercy ceased to
plead with the inhabitants of Sodom, and all but Lot, with his
wife and two daughters, were consumed by the fire sent down from
heaven.
There was a shut door in CHRIST'S day. The Son of GOD declared
to the unbelieving Jews of that generation,
"Your house is left unto you desolate"
Matthew 23:38.
Looking down to the stream of time to he last days, the same
infinite power declared through John:
"These things said he that is holy, he that is true, he that has
the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth, and no
man openeth. I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an
open door, and no man can shut it; for thou hast a little
strength, and has kept my word, and has not denied my name."
Revelation 3:7,8.
The door of Matthew 25:10 was shut to the five foolish virgin
and the entrance to the holy place in heaven to those who
rejected JESUS in the Sanctuary above. And yet the temple in
heaven is open on judgment day showing the ark of his testament
containing all of the ten commandments [Revelation 11:19].
D. M. Canright [ex-SDA] and our most aggressive critic,
wrote: "The lamb like beast of Revelation 13:11-18 is not the
United States at all [note, in the 1800's the US was small on
the world stage]........Has the United States ever thus
co-operated with the papacy? Emphatically, no. Is any man
fanatical enough to believe that it ever will ?
"Church and State must be united. This is against one of the
fundamental principles of our government. The constitution
expressively forbids it, consequently it must first be changed.
----Seventh Day Adventism Renounced,pp.92-95 [it is really
denounced].
At the popes funeral, 4 US Presidents kneeled at the coffin in
Rome. This would have been unthinkable back in the 1800's. US
and papal relations were established under the Clinton
administration. Reagan before him had tried, but was opposed by
parliament and so Reagan paid for a delegate privately.
Canright wrote that it was the unsoundness of our position on
the covenants, the two laws and the law in Galatians,p.50. For
clarity on the law in Galatians and the New Covenant see

Did Ellen White falsely
claim to be among the 144 000 living when our Lord returns?
False prophecy?
Referring to
Early Writings [EW] p.40 critics read into this that Ellen
falsely attributed her writings. The truth is, the angel in
vision showed her what heaven was like and she wished to remain
there, and here is her writing: "I begged my attending angel
to let me remain in that place. I could not bear the thought of
coming back to this dark world again. Then the angel said, "You
must go back, and if you are faithful, you, with the 144 000,
shall have the privilege of visiting all the worlds and viewing
the handiwork of God."---
Along with the 144 000 rather
than being part of that group is the meaning. There are millions
of others being resurrected when JESUS returns that will stand
along the 144 000 being the first fruits.
England to Declare War During the
U.S. Civil War?
Did Ellen G. White
predict that England would declare war against the United States? Here is the
context of her comment:
"England is studying whether it is best to take advantage of
the present weak condition of our nation, and venture to make war upon her. She
is weighing the matter, and trying to sound other nations. She fears, if she
should commence war abroad, that she would be weak at home, and that other
nations would take advantage of her weakness. Other nations are making quiet yet
active preparations for war, and are hoping that England will make war with our
nation, for then they would improve the opportunity to be revenged on her for
the advantage she has taken of them in the past, and the injustice done them. A
portion of the Queen's subjects are waiting a favorable opportunity to break
their yoke; but if England thinks it will pay, she will not hesitate a moment to
improve her opportunities to exercise her power, and humble our nation. When
England does declare war, all nations will have an interest of their own to
serve, and there will be general war, general confusion" (Testimonies for the
Church, vol. 1, p. 259).
Studying.......weighing the matter.......waiting, does this sound like
predicting that England would?
Death from cosmetics?
In an article describing unhealthful fashions, Ellen G. White
included the following statement in an article regarding dangerous fashionable
fads:
"Many are ignorantly injuring their health and endangering
their life by using cosmetics. They are robbing the cheeks of the glow of
health, and then to supply the deficiency use cosmetics. When they become heated
in the dance the poison is absorbed by the pores of the skin, and is
thrown into the blood. Many lives have been sacrificed by this means alone" (The
Health Reformer, October 1871).
Some have wondered how the use of cosmetics alone could
prove fatal. In today's world, with government testing and consumer safety
guidelines, adverse reactions to cosmetics are essentially limited to skin
irritation and allergies. But this was not the case in the 19th century, as
noted in this consumer bulletin issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration:
"The European cosmetic known as ceruse was used faithfully--and fatally, because
it was mainly white lead--by wealthy women from the second century until well
into the 19th century to make their faces look fashionably pale" (Dori Stehlin,
FDA Consumer, November 1991; revised May 1995).
In 1871, when Ellen White prepared the article in question,
"enamelling" was the latest cosmetic fad, "which is nothing less than painting
the face with lead paint, and for this purpose are used the poisonous salts of
lead" (Sara Chase, M.D. in The Health Reformer, October 1871, p. 125).
Another deadly concoction was vermilion, made from mercuric sulphide. In such an
environment, it is not surprising that Ellen White should alert her readers to
the real life and health threats posed by such products.
Did Ellen G. White contradict JESUS?
Which is the greatest Commandment out of the Ten Commandments?
This false accusation stems from
the insistence of our Critics that all the laws are one and therefore nailed to
the cross.
Is this the case? Lets see: When the rich young ruler came to JESUS to ask
"What must I do to have eternal life?" JESUS answered: "But if thou
wilt enter life, keep the commandments." ---[Matthew 19:17b,K.J.V.]
"He saith unto Him, Which?" [v.18] Here we see that there are more
than one. The ruler wanted to know which ones. JESUS then preceeded with
quoting the last 5 of the Ten Commandments and then summed up the second table
of the moral law with "Thou shalt love thy Neighbour as thyself." [v.19]
In Matthew 22:36 JESUS was tempted like we are here by our Critics and enemies:
"Master, which is the great commandment in the law?"
Notice it says the great and not the 'greatest' commandment in the law, the
law of Moses. Our opposition changed this into the greatest of all the
Commandments.
JESUS replied: "Thou shalt love the Lord thy GOD with all thy heart and with
all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first [in order, as the
first table] and great Commandment. And the second [in order, as the
second table] is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On
these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." [vv.37-39].
The apostle Paul also confirms the difference between the old law of Moses and
the Commandments of our GOD: "Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision I
nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of GOD."---[1.Cor.7:19]
Looking at the Ten Commandments, nine have all short sentences, but the Sabbath
command is the "greatest" in the amount of words it has. It is also the only one
command of the ten that speaks of holiness and sanctification and GOD'S
ownership. All the other nine could and can belong to any other god or idol.
Jerusalem Never to Be Rebuilt?
Ellen G. White wrote in 1851 that "old Jerusalem never would
be built up." [1]
By itself, the statement looks unsustainable. But when the setting is
reconstructed, we find Mrs. White counseling the growing Adventist group that
both time-setting [2]
and the "age-to-come" notion [3]
were incompatible with Biblical truth. She emphasized that the Old Testament
prophecies regarding the establishment of a Jewish kingdom in Palestine were
conditional on obedience and forfeited by disobedience. Unfulfilled prophecies
would be fulfilled to "true Israel" as unfolded in the New Testament text.
Thus the popular movement of the 1840s and 1850s to promote a
Zionist state in Palestine was not a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and not a
quest in which Adventists should become involved. Her warnings and instruction
were designed to turn the interest away from Palestine and toward the work God
had opened up before them.
In a September 1850 vision she saw that it was a "great error"
to believe that "it is their duty to go to Old Jerusalem, and think they have a
work to do there before the Lord comes. . . ; for those who think that they are
yet to go to Jerusalem will have their minds there, and their means will be
withheld from the cause of present truth to get themselves and others there."
[4]
Less than a year later, August 1851, she wrote with greater
emphasis "that Old Jerusalem never would be built up; and that Satan was doing
his utmost to lead the minds of the children of the Lord into these things now,
in the gathering time, to keep them from throwing their whole interest into the
present work of the Lord, and to cause them to neglect the necessary preparation
for the day of the Lord." [5]
How did Ellen White's readers understand this statement? That
there was no light in the popular "age-to-come" teaching, that there is no
Biblical significance in the Jews' returning to Palestine, that Jerusalem will
never be rebuilt in a future millennial period. She was not talking about a
possible political rebuilding of Jerusalem but of a prophetically significant
rebuilding of Old Jerusalem. To continue to think that way, she emphasized, was
to sink further into Satan's deceptions and away from present duty.
For further study of this topic, see Julia Neuffer,
"The
Gathering of Israel," in the
Reference Library.
NOTE: As a result, all Protestantism today is turning their prophetic
attention to the rebuilding of the old temple site in Jerusalem to the very
neglect of the heavenly Temple where our high priest and intercessor JESUS
CHRIST is ministering for our salvation. What would it take to turn our Critics
and Opponents away from this false prophecy?
Statements Taken Out of Context
"Those who accept the Saviour, however sincere their conversion, should
never be taught to say or to feel that they are saved."
A closer look at Ellen G. White's cautions regarding this
subject reveals that, in context, she is not speaking against the certainty of a
believer's present standing with God. She is warning against the presumptuous
"once saved, always saved" teaching of eternal security--those who claim "I
am saved" while continuing to transgress the law of God. Here is her full
statement:
"Peter's fall was not instantaneous, but gradual.
Self-confidence led him to the belief that he was saved, and step after step
was taken in the downward path, until he could deny his Master. Never can we
safely put confidence in self or feel, this side of heaven, that we are
secure against temptation. Those who accept the Saviour, however sincere
their conversion, should never be taught to say or to feel that they are saved.
This is misleading. Everyone should be taught to cherish hope and faith; but
even when we give ourselves to Christ and know that He accepts us, we are
not beyond the reach of temptation. God's Word declares, 'Many shall be
purified, and made white, and tried' (Dan. 12:10). Only he who endures the trial
will receive the crown of life (James 1:12)" (Christ's Object Lessons, p.
155, emphasis supplied).
Note: Papal Rome has been in a fallen condition for centuries by adulterating
the purity of the truth and altering the Ten Commandments in such a way as to
mislead worshippers into idolatry and a transgression of the Ten Commandments.
Protestantism now is doing exactly the same and therefore coming closer to Rome
step by step until apostasy is complete. In the book of Revelation we see
a threefold union enforcing the mark of the beast, fallen Rome, fallen
Protestant America aided by the uniting force of Spiritualism such as the babel
of false tongues. See our page on

Ellen G. White contradict the Bible:
Adam was deceived Ev.p598 Bible: Adam was not deceived
1.Timothy 2:14
We have before us what seems a
real contradiction. EGW uses this to show that the churches of Christendom are
deceiving themselves in thinking that they can freely transgress the holy law of
our GOD and still be saved. In order to get rid of GOD'S own Sabbath of the
fourth commandment, they lie to the people in calling it "JEWISH". GOD
calls the Sabbath "HIS DAY", and JESUS claims LORDSHIP [Matthew 12:8]. Similar,
Adam reasoned that this transgression would be forgiven him seeing that GOD is
all loving. GOD is truly all loving, but also just.
God has given man precious
promises upon conditions of faith and obedience; but they are not to sustain him
in any rash act. If men needlessly place themselves in peril, and go where God
does not require them to go, and self-confidently expose themselves to danger,
disregarding the dictates of reason, God will not work a miracle to relieve
them. He will not send His angels to preserve any from being burned if they
choose to place themselves in the fire. {Con 85.3}
Adam was not deceived by the serpent, as was Eve, and it was inexcusable in Adam
to rashly transgress God's positive command. Adam was presumptuous because his
wife had sinned. He could not see what would become of Eve. He was sad,
troubled, and tempted. He listened to Eve's recital of the words of the serpent,
and his constancy and integrity began to waver. Doubts arose in his mind in
regard to whether God did mean just as He said. He rashly ate the tempting
fruit. {Con 86.1}
Angels on probation had been deceived by Satan, and had been led on by him in
the great rebellion in Heaven against Christ. They failed to endure the test
brought to bear upon them, and they fell. Adam was then created in the image of
God and placed upon probation. He had a perfectly developed organism. All his
faculties were harmonious. In all his emotions, words, and actions, there was a
perfect conformity to the will of his Maker. After God had made every provision
for the happiness of man, and had supplied his every want, he tested his
loyalty. If the holy pair should be obedient, the race would, after a time, be
made equal to the angels. As Adam and Eve failed to bear this test, Christ
proposed to become a voluntary offering for man. {2Red 15.2}
Faithfully I endeavour to write out that which is given me from time to time by
the divine Counselor. Some portions of that which I write are sent out
immediately to meet the present necessities of the work. Other portions are held
until the development of circumstances makes it evident to me that the time has
come for their use. Sometimes in ministers and physicians bearing
responsibilities there has developed a disposition to discard the testimonies,
and I have been instructed not to place testimonies in their hands; for having
yielded to the spirit that tempted and overcame Adam and Eve, they have opened
mind and heart to the control of the enemy. Being on a false track, and laboring
under deceptive imaginings, they will read into the testimonies things that are
not there, but which are in agreement with the false statements that they have
listened to. By reading the testimonies in the light of their own kindling, they
are deceived, and will deceive others. {1SM 51.4}
Another Error--Commandments Done
Away.-- Christ warns His followers, "Beware of false prophets, which come to you
in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." He exhorts us not
to be deceived when false shepherds present their doctrines. These men tell us
that the commandments of God were done away at the death of Christ. Shall we
believe them, these men who claim to be sanctified, while they refuse to obey
God? They say the Lord has told them that they need not keep the Ten
Commandments; but has the Lord told them this? No, God does not lie. {Ev 597.3}
Adam quite well understood that
his companion had transgressed the only prohibition laid upon them as a test of
their fidelity and love. Eve reasoned that the serpent said they should not
surely die, and his words must be true, for she felt no signs of God's
displeasure, but a pleasant influence, as she imagined the angels felt. {SR
36.1}
Adam regretted that Eve had left his side, but now the deed was done. He must be
separated from her whose society he had loved so well. How could he have it
thus? His love for Eve was strong. And in utter discouragement he resolved to
share her fate. He reasoned that Eve was a part of himself, and if she must die,
he would die with her, for he could not bear the thought of separation from her.
He lacked faith in his merciful and benevolent Creator. He did not think that
God, who had formed him out of the dust of the ground into a living, beautiful
form, and had created Eve to be his companion, could supply her place. After
all, might not the words of this wise serpent be correct? Eve was before him,
just as lovely and beautiful, and apparently as innocent, as before this act of
disobedience. She expressed greater, higher love for him than before her
disobedience, as the effects of the fruit she had eaten. He saw in her no signs
of death. She had told him of the happy influence of the fruit, of her ardent
love for him, and he decided to brave the consequences. He seized the fruit and
quickly ate it, and like Eve, felt not immediately its ill effects. {SR 36.2}
The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me. John 14:30. {AG 162.1}
From the moment that Christ entered the world, the whole confederacy of Satanic
agencies was set at work to deceive and overthrow Him as Adam had been deceived
and overthrown. . . . {AG 162.2} Before we sin, we reason with ourselves
and then violate the plainest commandment of GOD. Fallen Romanism has done it
for centuries and now Protestantism. That is why GOD is sending them a very
strong and powerful delusion because they prefer the lie before the truth
[2.Thessalonians 2]

Was Ellen White a millionaire?
Frequently in her ministry Ellen White was confronted by accusations
that she was accumulating great wealth because of her book royalties.
Here is her direct response to one detractor, written in 1897 while she
lived in Australia:
"You have made reports in reference to me being rich. How did you
know I was? For about ten years I have been working on borrowed
property. Should I sell all that I have in my possession, I would
not have sufficient to pay my outstanding debts. "Where have I
invested this money? You well know where. I have been the bank from
which to draw to carry forward the work in this country. . . .
"I have borrowed money to do the work which must
be done. Not one shilling of the donations sent me, from the least
sum to larger amounts, has been used for myself. Our good Sister
Wessels made me a present of a silk dress, and made me promise I
would not sell it. But I thought that had she placed in my hands the
amount the dress was worth, it would have been used in the cause of
God. "I see debts on our meetinghouses and it hurts my soul. I
cannot but feel distress over the matter. I have invested money in
the Parramatta church, in the Prospect church, in the Napier church,
in the Ormondville church, in the Gisborne church, and in the
education of students. I have sent persons to America that they
might be fitted to return and do work in this country. If this is
the way to become rich, I think it would be well for others to try
it.
"All the royalty on my foreign books sold in
America is sacredly dedicated to God for the education of students,
that they may be fitted for the ministry. Thousands of dollars have
been thus expended. Is this the way to accumulate money? The old
story that Canright and others have circulated, that I was worth
thirty thousand dollars, all fiction. It has increased to thirty
thousand pounds, by report, since I came to Australia. "I do not
know where it is. I am using up my means, just as fast as it comes
in, to carry forward the work in this country. If I had thirty
thousand pounds, I would not have sent to Africa for the loan of one
thousand pounds on which I am paying interest. If I could, I would
get a loan of another thousand pounds, so that we might be able to
put up the main school building.
"I have not thirty thousand pounds. I only wish I
had a million dollars. I would do as I did in Sydney. I would put
men in the field to labor, defraying their expenses from my own
funds. We need one hundred men where we now have one in the field"
(Letter 98a, 1897).
Then, six years later, in a private letter dated
October 19, 1903, Ellen White wrote,
"I have done all I could to help the cause of God with my means. I
am paying interest on twenty thousand dollars, all of which I have
invested in the work of God. And I shall continue to do all in my
power to help to forward His work" (Letter 218, 1903).
Did Ellen White contradict her own teachings by dying in debt?
It is true that Ellen White warned against the dangers
of indebtedness, and borrowing beyond one's means to pay the money back
at any given time. However, when she died she owed nearly $90,000, while
her assets were appraised at a little more than $65,000. This left a
deficit of more than $20,000. Did Ellen White handle her finances
irresponsibly and in complete disregard to her own counsels? When all
the facts of her business affairs are considered, it is clear that Ellen
White did not violate the spirit and intent of the counsel she gave
concerning freedom from debt.
Ellen White did not advocate an extreme position on debt--that under no
circumstances should one make any moves unless the money is in hand. She
said that circumstances altered cases, and recognized the fact that
opportunities present themselves where the appropriate response is to
move forward in faith, even if it is necessary to "borrow money and pay
interest" (Counsels on Stewardship, p. 278).
In her own personal experience, most of Ellen White's
borrowing was incurred during the later years of her life when,
realizing the shortness of her days, she did some of her heaviest work
in preparing new books, both in English and in other languages. There
were only two ways in which such expenses of book preparation could be
met--either in profits from former publishing (i.e., royalties), or by
borrowing against anticipated royalties. Because of Ellen White's past
generosity in contributing funds toward the work of the church, she was
left to rely upon future earnings (royalties) to liquidate her debt.
Part of that generosity consisted in her declining to receive royalties
for non-English editions, and donating the royalties of her most popular
later works, Christ's Object Lessons (1900) and The Ministry of Healing
(1905), for the support of specific church projects. In the years
following her death the continued sales of her publications entirely met
her obligations, as she had anticipated. For a fuller discussion of
Ellen White's indebtedness, see "Mrs. White's Indebtedness."

Is
JESUS also the same as the Archangel called "MICHAEL ? Why is Ellen G
White blamed for this interpretation?
|
"Lo, Michael, one of the chief Princes, came to
help me;........and there is none that holds
with me in these things, but Michael your
prince.[Dan.10:13,21]. For some, it is
almost impossible to believe that this could
refer to our Lord JESUS CHRIST! Michael means,
One like GOD! He has many, many names and just
as Satan is the prince of evil, so JESUS is the
prince of life. In Daniel He is also called
"Messiah" the prince [9:25].
While Satan always wants to exalt himself,
CHRIST is the opposite, He accepts the lowliest
names and positions. in Daniel 11:22 JESUS is
also called the prince of the covenant. In John
12:31 Satan is called the prince of this world.
In
Revelation 1:5 it says: "And from JESUS
CHRIST, who is the faithful witness, the
first begotten of the dead, and the prince
of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved
us, and washed us from our sins in His own
blood." While he humbles Himself into the
dust and took our place, He elevates us to Kings
and Priests [v.6; 5:10; 1.Peter 2:9].
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son
is given: and the government shall be upon His
shoulder; and His name shall be called
Wonderful, Councillor, The mighty GOD, the
everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
[Isa.9:6]. |

|
At least One Apologetic Website we know of, has removed this
false accusation against Ellen White and the Seventh Day Adventist Church
organisation.
"And from Jesus, who is the faithful witness, and
the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth.
Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood."
(Revelation 1:5).
The expression "first begotten of the dead" has caused much perplexity.
Obviously Jesus was not the first one to be resurrected. Besides Moses, at least
three others were raised by Jesus Himself.
There are two ways the word "first" may be understood. It can mean either first
in point of time or first in pre-eminence. The President's wife is spoken of as
the First Lady-not because she is the first Lady who existed, but first in honor
and pre-eminence.
Christ was "first begotten of the dead" because that resurrection took the
pre-eminence over all resurrections and Jesus has the honor over all resurrected
people. Here is also clearly shown that our Lord JESUS is called the "PRINCE."
Jesus Christ is not a created being. This view by the
watchtower society is built on a misconception of a text in Revelation 3:14
"the beginning of creation". This is wrongly interpreted to mean that
Christ is the first being that God created; that God's creation began with Him.
This antagonizes the scriptures which declares that Christ Himself created all
things.
The word 'beginning' here is the Greek 'arche', which has two
meanings, head or chief, which would really be translated the head of creation
or chief creator. same as the word in chief- or archdeacon.
We have this same problem again in Jude 9 where it speaks of
Michael the chief or archangel, which does not mean He is an angel but the
commander of angels. He cannot be an angel for He is above them (Hebr.1:4).
Jesus Himself said that He is the Alpha and omega, the first
and the last, the beginning and the end. Neither should we imagine that Christ
is a creature, because Paul calls Him the first born of every creature, for the
very next verse calls Him to be Creator, and not a creature.---Col.1:15,16.
Here is E.G.White's own statement regarding her writings: "The Testimonies of
Sister White should not be carried to the front. God's Word is the unerring
standard. The Testimonies are not to take the place of the Word of God. . . .
Let us prove all our positions from Scripture and substantiate every point they
claim from the revealed Word of God" (Evangelism, p. 256).
GOD also said, that if a prophet prophesied things that did come to pass, yet
he/she would direct people away the true GOD to idols or other gods, he
had to be killed. That is why so many know that Mrs. E. G. White does direct
people to JESUS and so they try hard to find fault with her predictions that
have to come 100% true. So they resort to lies and misquoting as we have shown
you so far.
"I saw an immense ball of fire
fall among some beautiful mansions, causing their instant
destruction..."

False prophet is a label given to a person who is viewed as
illegitimately claiming

Out of ignorance David W. Cloud wrote that Mrs. Ellen G. White interpreted
the Bible for Seventh day Adventists.-Avoiding the snare,p.163 That which
was left over from the Millerite great disappointment [see Rev.10:9-11] the
prophetic little book from Daniel esp. for these last days, saw in

interpretation would study for month to reach agreements and only when they came
to a dead end would they pray together pleading GOD for light when they answer

have the sole patent rights to the end-time prophecies of Daniel and the
Revelation! |
