Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus the Christ.
Jesus said that before Abraham was I am. Jesus claims to be the self-existing God that appeared unto Moses by the name of I am that I am.
Instantly the Jews picked up stones to stone Him because being a man Jesus was making Himself God.
Jesus is the greatest discovery of all time, greater than the atom bomb.
Jesus is not only a world changer, but also a personal life changer. Many today do not know who Jesus Christ is, and not who He was.
Jesus the life-changer!
changed the apostle Peter from a coward to mighty and fearless preacher!
The Lord Jesus Christ changed me and he can change you.
Jesus Christ the founder
Jesus is the founder of Christianity. Jesus Christ is Lord of Lord's and King of Kings in character. He came to show us what His heavenly Father is like. Jesus Christ is the only "Rock" of our salvation (1.Corinthians 10:4) and not the Papacy nor Peter the apostle.
Not a stern judge, but a loving Father. Just like the prodical Son came home and the Father looked out for him all day long and ran out the gate to embrace His son.
So does our Heavenly Father welcome us to heaven. He comes running out the heavenly gate to greet and embrace us, if we accept Jesus His only begotten Son right now and here. He washes away our sins by His precious blood.
So, who is Jesus Christ? One with the Father and One that loves us to death.
Only Jesus can satisfy and heal our wounds. Cure us from the greatest disease called sin.
Jesus The Christ is the promised Messiah and Saviour of mankind. He wants to get to know us personally. People who never make it to the promised land, do not know and trust God Almighty to get them there.
Jesus the Saviour from sin.
Jesus saved everybody on the cruel cross, but He also wants to enter and win your heart with love.
The four gospels reveal Jesus Christ and who He is,and even though Jesus is called the Word or logos, Jesus is symbolised in the O.T. As the spotless sacrificial lamb and the last book of the Bible is the revelation of Jesus Christ. And Jesus wants to be your Sheppard and protect you.
There is a beautiful song: happiness is to know the Saviour and living a life within His favour having a change in my behaviour happiness is the Lord.
Another song or hymnal is this, I serve a risen Saviour He is in the world today. I know that He is living, whatever man may say. I see His hand of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer. And just the time I need Him He is always near.
He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today! Jesus said I have not come to condemn the world, but that the world may be saved. I have come that you may have life, and that you may have it more abundantly.
What is the human nature of Jesus Christ?
God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh.--Romans 8:3 Note, the only way Jesus could condemn sin in the flesh is to come in sinful flesh! Romans 1:3 says "Jesus was made of the seed of (King) David." "For both, He that sanctifies and they that who are sanctified are all one: For which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren."--Hebrews 2:11
"For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself (Jesus) likewise took part of the same."--Hebrews 2:14
Flesh: flesh is physical, therefore intrinsically vile, corrupt, and evil. Jesus came to proof that in fallen nature God's holy law can be kept.
Pastor Glenn Coon told the story that as a little boy he heard the story of how Chester Galette drowned Grace Brown, his fiancée, in the Auburn Lake.
All his relatives thought he was innocent of the charge of murder. But as they sat in the courtroom and heard the evidence pile up against him, they began to shudder.
Then they also became convinced that their own Chester was a murderer.
At the close of the court session, the father is said to have made his way over to where his son was sitting in the courtroom. With him was Chesters brother.
The father and the brother, in angry denunciation proceeded to shake their fists in the face of Chester, and disown him. They wanted everyone in the courtroom to know that they were not a party to this crime against God and society. Still angry and humiliated and broken-hearted, they left Chester with his guards.
But Chester’s little mother was there also. She knew Jesus, she did not have to ask who is Jesus Christ. When Chester's father and the brother had finished disowning the boy, his mother made her way through the courtroom over to where Chester still sat. She placed a loving arm around him, and a tender, tear-stained cheek against his criminal one.
With hot tears freely flowing down her pale face, she told Chester of her love for him, no matter what the future held in store for him. She told her wayward son how she had loved him as a child, as a youth, as a young man. And now she would never fail him. She would love him even unto death.
Jesus Christ our matchless lover wants to place His matchless arms of love around our criminal forms, and press His cheek of pardon close to ours, flushed with sin and evil, and whisper into our ears, now dull of hearing, the words, Yes I have loved you with an everlasting love, therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you ( Jeremiah 31:3) Come unto Me, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28-30.
So if you want to know who Jesus is, remember that He is the one that loves you for ever. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the way of life. Jesus died for our sins in our place and rose again to be our Saviour from sin Matthew 1:21.
We hear the argument that likeness is not sameness! In Romans 8:3 it says that Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh. Here is what the Expositor of Greek Testament has to comment on Romans 8:3 : "The emphasis...is on Christ's likeness unto us, not His unlikeness. What he (Paul) means by it is that God sent His Son in that nature which in us is identified with sin...The Flesh..in which sin had reigned was also that (flesh) in which God's condemnation of sin was executed. The flesh meant is our corrupt human nature."--Expositor 2:645,646.
Protestantism originally said that Jesus was fully God and fully man.—“The Augsburg Confession”,p.11 Q.: What do they say today? Well the church of Rome made Mother Mary immaculate which means Jesus could not sin and we cannot follow Jesus in the narrow way. Fallen Babylon [Christianity)does not want to make Mary immaculate, but claim that Jesus had the un-fallen nature of Adam before sin which is much of the same doctrine.
But what is the Bible truth? Every spirit that confesses not that Jesus has come in the flesh is not of God.--1.John 4:3.
Wherefore in all things it behoved Him [Christ] to be made like unto His brethren [fallen human nature] Q.: In how many things? Some? No, in all things like unto His brethren.--Hebrews 2:17
"For verily He [Christ] did not take on Him the nature of angels [sinless], but He took on Him the seed of Abraham [sinful].”—Hebrews 2:16 Therefore Jesus is not ashamed to call us His brothers.
2nd Witness: "Concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh." --Romans 1:3. According to what? Holy or sinful flesh of David? Jesus our Lord came from the lineage David ( Matthew ch.1)and Rehab. Taking away the heresy of Rome, Jesus accepted the working of the law of heredity. How else could He be tempted in all points as we are unless He had the same passion as us? Yet He never sinned. It doesn't say He was sinless but made perfect in suffering.
So we can follow Jesus in the narrow way after all. He never went to church on Sunday, so we cannot follow Him there. But on His own Seventh-day Sabbath Saturday as the centre of the Ten Commandments, we are commanded to follow.
Jesus was born of the Holy Spirit to make the choice not to sin. So with us, when we are born again by the very same Holy Spirit, we can choose not to sin any more. Revelation 14 not sinless perfection, but characters like Jesus built on the rock.
“Christ was both the Son of Man and the Son of God; partaking fully and truly of human nature, though without sin.”—“Creeds of Christendom p.731,1919 ed.
“The Son of God; who by the appointment of the Father, freely took upon Him our nature.”—Baptist confession. A.D. 1833, article 4.
Anyone can see how the popular churches have changed their beliefs and doctrines from their original teachings.
God is speaking directly in Isaiah 66:23 that from one Sabbath to another will all flesh come before Me to worship." Now, if we feel uncomfortable here on earth keeping God's Sabbath, there is no real purpose in going to paradise.
Since sin is defined as lawlessness or violating the moral law of the Ten Commandments, we read: "Whosoever is born of God does not sin."--1.John 3:9 remember that John is called the disciple of love. "He that commits sin is of the Devil."--1. John 3:8.
The Sabbath is a moral command, remember to keep it holy. Holiness and sanctification belongs to the holy moral law of God. Ezekiel 20:12,20.
As the fallen churches unite under things they hold in common such as Sunday sacredness and friendship with the world which is enmity with God, they will persecute those who insist on keeping Christ's Seventh day Sabbath holy.
Jesus says that if they persecute Me, they will also persecute you. But do not worry what to speak when you are dragged before the courts. The Holy Spirit will tell you what to say in bring back to your mind, what you have studied.
The new Covenant is not made with the Gentiles. The New Covenant consists of God Himself writing love for His holy law into our minds and hearts [see Hebrews chapters 8&10]. With the mind we understand and agree that Gods law is spiritual, holy and good [see Romans 7:7-14] and with the heart we learned to love it.
In 1970 the Baptist evangelist and author Walter Chantry condemned the modern Gospel of all the fallen churches because they have taken the Ten Commandments out to make the Gospel synthetic. There is no sin to repent of or to forsake and so Babylon's sin has been stockpiling as high as the heavens [see Revelation 18] and God is calling His people to come out because the Babylonians are unrepenting. Babylon stands for confusion. Sin confuses you.
Then comes the Sunday law in form of a boycott enforcing the Mark of the Beast. Then our opponents will say, no not another Sabbath, we just rejected one.
The Dragon [or Devil see Revelation 12] is making war on the woman [symbol of a church] which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus. The commandments being the Ten Commandments of God and the testimony of Jesus being the spirit of prophecy [see Rev.19:10]. The same spirit of prophecy John had and on the Lord's day (Rev.1:9,10) which is Christ's Sabbath. [Mark 2:28].
So when Pentecostals and Charismatics claim that Gods law is a law of bondage, they are on Satan's side of the war. The Bible declares the law of God a law of liberty [James 2:10-12]. Many others make void the law in other ways.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abrahams's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Galatians 3:29. Genesis 26:5 "Because that Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My Commandments, My statues, and My laws." We can have the assurance of salvation, but we are like criminals still on probation.
And again: " We all know that Jesus came to help the descendants of Abraham, not to help the angels. Therefore, it was necessary for Jesus to be in every respect like us, His brothers and sisters, so that He could be our merciful and faithful High Priest before God. He than could offer a sacrifice that would take away sins of the people.--Hebrews 2:16,17 Tyndale NLT
How clear is that. In every respect like us it says! So no immaculate mother Mary. The Word was made flesh. We who are born again have become partakers of the divine nature 2. Peter 1:4 so we have become like our Lord Jesus especially if we have fallen on our rock Jesus and have our old nature broken up! Ezekiel 33:31 2. Timothy 3:5.
" Just as Christ is, so are we in this world." 1. John 4:17 and "Whosoever abides in Him (Christ), sins not." 1. John 3:6. God wants His church without spot wrinkle or any such thing. Eph.5:27 and again: " The church has made her selves ready Revelation 19:7. This church has taken upon themselves the yoke that Christ required and learned of Him!
The Lutheran confession of faith article 3 declares that Christ was fully human and fully divine. So if fully human. What this means is, if Jesus had an immaculate nature from mother Mary, Satan could say that the contest was unfair.

Evangelical creeds by Harper quoting the following, Question 89: " What is the dying of the old man? Answer: " Heartfelt sorrow for sin; causing us to hate sin and turn from it more and more".
What is sin?
The transgression or violation of the law (1.John 3:4) Romans 7:7-14; 2:13; 3:20; Matthew 5:17- Not a jot or title quoting two of the Ten Commandments and James repeating the same two of the Ten saying if you only violate one of the Ten than you are guilty of all Ten James 2:10-12; In the day of judgments Pentecostals falsely so called will parade their good works before Jesus and Jesus is saying: " Not every one that says Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of heaven but only those who do the will of My Father Matthew 7:21;
Q What is the will of the Father? 1.Thessalonians 4:3 even your sanctification Matthew 12:50;
What is the mark or sign of sanctification? Ezekiel 20:12,20 Christ's Sabbath keeping. Remember to keep it holy.
Pentecostals Charismatics call Gods law a law of bondage and so with opposing the New Testament which says that Gods law is the law of freedom see James ch.two. Set free from sin by our living Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus our great and high Priest is interceding for us in heaven where the law of the Ten Commandments are kept not in the holy, but in the Most Holy Place of the heavenly temple which is being avoided by all false teachers of Christendom.
The modern Protestant teaching that Christ had an inherent, sinless nature which could not be tempted-were devised in order to get rid of the need to obey the law of God--the Ten Commandments!
2 Corinthians 5:21" For He (God) made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.”
“ For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye follow his steps: Who did not sin, neither was guile found in His mouth…that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness.”—1.Peter 2: 21-24.
Furthermore, in modern translations of the Bible, they removed the words " Deliver us from Evil " from the Lord's Prayer because the Devil doesn't want us to pray for God to deliver us from evil but rather he wants evil or our fallen nature to remain in us.
There is only one genuine Jesus
There is only one Jesus in the whole New Testament, and He is the Lord of the Seventh-day Sabbath [Matthew 12:8; Mark 2:28]. If you have a different Jesus, than He is not the one who is the same yesterday, today and forever [Hebrews 13:8] I am the Lord that changes not!
Would the real Jesus please stand up! He Himself said that in the last days there will be many false Christ's to follow. The name 'Christian' was not yet known then. They were known as the 'Followers of the Way'. Jesus is a way of life and He is the way, the truth, and the life!
In the new testament, He made two astounding claims. One, He said 'before Abraham was, 'I am'(John8:58) The Jews understood rightly because instantly they picked up stones to stone Him. In Exodus 3:13,14 Moses had asked God his name. and God answered: "I AM THAT I AM", i.e. the self-existing One. The second claim of Jesus is that he is the Lord of the seventh-day Sabbath.
Self existence is equated with being uncreated or underived. The prophet Isaiah says of CHRIST: " For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be on His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Councilor, The mighty GOD, The everlasting Father, The prince of peace." Isa.9:6
The Gospel writer John says, 'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God, the same was in the beginning with God, all things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made',John 1:1-3; Acts 13;33; Ps.2:7
Ephesians 3:9 says: 'and to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world has been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ!' And Colossians 1:16 says: 'For by Him (Christ) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in the earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him!'
Hebrews 1:2 says: 'God has spoken in the last days unto us by His Son, who He has appointed Heir of all things, by Whom He also made the worlds (plural)!'. No wonder that Jesus takes the rightful title of Lord of the Sabbath Day (Gospels of Matthew 12:8; and Mark 2:28). As I move among the Catholic and Protestant Churches, I hear plenty Lord, Lord, but they refuse to let Him be Lord of all! In heaven apparently everyone worships Jesus on that day (Isaiah 66:22-24). And why not obey the fourth of the 10 Commandments now and here for by the law is the knowledge of sin (Romans 3:20) and all have sinned (v.23).
JESUS CHRIST being GOD in the flesh, saved everybody on the cross. That means, He made atonement and paid the price of our sins for us. Now He must become your personal Saviour from, not in sin [Matthew 1:21] by simply accepting Him just as you are. Only He can and will change us. Then JESUS says: "Come and follow Me." People of the world see the Christian life as too restrictive. They do not see the love, peace and joy that comes from following JESUS who gives us a foretaste of paradise here and now. The reason that you will see so many unhappy Christians, is the fact that they do not detach themselves from the world before joining JESUS. They try to live a double life with the pleasures of this world of sin and the sinless JESUS at the same time.
Who belongs to Jesus? "Those who belong to Christ have crucified their old nature with all that it loved and lusted for."---Gal.5:24, Phillips.
"According to His divine power has given unto us all things unto life and godliness....that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature having escaped the corruption that is in the world through the lust of the flesh.---2.Peter 1:3,4.
The new heaven and the new earth that I will make, says the Lord, all flesh shall come to worship before Me from one Sabbath to another Sabbath day ( Isaiah 66:22.23 ). It does not say from one Jesus to another Jesus shall all flesh come to worship before me as many Protestants are now starting to say.
If Jesus is now our Sabbath rest, and we Protestants certainly rest in Jesus, and if every day is now the Sabbath Day as many Protestants are now saying than the verse in Revelation 1:10 would read ridiculously, I ,John, received the Revelation of Jesus Christ on every day. This makes no sense.
Then some Protestants say that Jesus is now our Temple Sanctuary in Heaven. If this was so, would our Lord Jesus Christ need cleansing (Dan.8:14)? How ridiculous! this would border on blasphemy, don't you think?
Jesus is also found in the prophecies of Isaiah: " For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The prince of peace."---Isa.9:6 KJV.
Jesus Christ is not a created being. This view by the watchtower society is built on a misconception of a text in Revelation 3:14 "the beginning of creation". This is wrongly interpreted to mean that Christ is the first being that God created; that God's creation began with Him. This antagonizes the scriptures which declares that Christ Himself created all things.
The word 'beginning' here is the Greek 'arche', which has two meanings, head or chief, which would really be translated the head of creation or chief creator. same as the word in chief- or archdeacon.
We have this same problem again in Jude 9 where it speaks of Michael the chief or archangel, which does not mean He is an angel but the commander of angels. He cannot be an angel for He is above them (Hebr.1:4). He created them and is also their Father. I brought my two sons into the world, therefore I am their Father.
Jesus Himself said that He is the Alpha and omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. Neither should we imagine that Christ is a creature, because Paul calls Him the first born of every creature, for the very next verse calls Him to be Creator, and not a creature.---Col.1:15,16.
Jesus Christ is not Lord of Sunday. This belongs to Anti-Christ. Jesus never went to Church or Synagogue on Sunday's so we cannot and should not follow Him there. We are not to go to Church every day because six days shalt thou labour and do all thy work (Ex.20:8).
You can only rest on Sabbath and in Jesus after you have laboured six days and came out of the slavery of sin which is symbolized by Egypt and Sodom. (Revelation 11:8).
Jesus says that he/she that is not for us, is against us! There is no neutrality in the war between good and evil Satan and Christ are waging (Rev.12:17). While most Protestants are now denying the application of God's holy Law to born again Believers, God says, here are they which keep the commandments and the faith of Jesus Christ (Rev.14:12).
Earth is preparation day for heaven. God will not take 'Rebels' into His unspoiled paradise. You cannot separate love from God's commandments nor can anyone separate Christ from His Seventh Day Sabbath. There have never been nine commandments!!! What God has joined together, let no man separate.
There is a difference between the real Jesus and Anti-Christ!
In order for Jesus to be tempted like us and yet to be without sin, He had to have not the immaculate nature of Mary, but our fallen sinful nature after the new spiritual re- birth.
Jesus was never born with our carnal mind because he was conceived not of Joseph but of the Holy Spirit in a virgin. So this makes the human part of Jesus like us born again Christians. Jesus could not even use His own divinity to help and perform miracles to benefit others. He overcame the way we do, by asking God for constant supply of fresh grace to help in time of need and live by faith only. If He had sinned, Jesus could not be our Redeemer and needed one Himself.
God is all knowing
Jesus restricted Himself to the full knowledge of the Bible and reading man's hearts or minds. He had to in order to be our perfect example and not have an unfair advantage over us. But as God, He certainly is all knowing. [1.Peter 2:21; John 10:30; Hebr.12:4; 1.Jn.5:7].
God is all powerful
Here again our Lord Jesus was restricted. He said without my Father I cannot do anything. This should also be our motto.
Jesus and God are one.
On the cross Jesus cried "My God, My God why hast thou forsaken me". Does this mean that Jesus was not God because He called on God? No, Jesus repeated an old testament psalm, a prophecy of His crucifixion. [Psalms 22:1]. We too, just as Jesus did, have to quote scriptures against sin and temptations. Jesus did this when tempted of the Devil. The Devil quoted only half twisted verses to Jesus. Jesus knew His Bible and so must we.
Jesus and His Mother?
Nowhere does Jesus say that Mary was divine! On the contrary. He asked, who is my mother? He that does the will of My Father in heaven, the same is My mother and brother. In Hebrews it says that Jesus is after the type of King Melchedesec who had neither Father or Mother, beginning or end [Hebr.7:3]. Melchedesec means King of righteousness or right doing!
The Apostle Paul asserts that JESUS CHRIST is our "ROCK" of salvation of the O.T. [1.Cor.10:4] and therefore the very GOD who gave us the Manna [vegetarian diet] and His Sabbath in the wilderness before He gave His law of the 10 Commandments on Mt.Sinai to Moses. To show that CHRIST is the Lord of the Sabbath [Matthew 12:8] back from the creation of this world [Genesis 2:1-3], He told the Israelites as they came out of Egypt, he would feed them daily with Manna or angel's food, except on the Sabbath. They had to gather a double portion on Fridays. This shows us the unbroken chain of the Seventh day from Eden lost to eternity [Isa. 66:22,23] when everyone will obey the Sabbath belonging to CHRIST!
Protestants experience the new birth by relying on the word and spirit of God. Catholics on the other hand relate it only to the sacrament of baptism. But the biblical convert becomes a partaker of the divine nature of God (2.Pet.1:4). and the Spiritualist believes somewhere in between.
"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He (Christ), so are we in this world."---1.John 4:17. Our love for Him and His holiness and righteousness gives us this great boldness.
What saddens me greatly, is the fact that in search engine ranking on the world wide web, Jesus is not listed very high. Q.: How does He rank with you?
